In Alberta, physiotherapy is a regulated health-care profession. This means only qualified professionals can become registered physiotherapists and use the titles physiotherapist, physical therapist or PT.
Physiotherapists are experts on how your body moves and what stops it from moving. As movement specialists, physiotherapists will use a variety of techniques such as, but not limited to, Hands-on approach (manual therapy), Exercise prescription, Patient education, Pain relieving modalities to help you restore, maximize and maintain movement for the rest of your life.
Physiotherapists are involved in the prevention and management of injuries resulting from daily activities, work injuries, motor vehicle collisions, disease or dysfunction, sport and exercise participation at all ages and at all levels of ability.
Our physiotherapists provide evidence-based practice and advice on safe participation in day-to-day activities, return to work, return to school, return to recreational activities, return to sport and exercise and return to active daily living.

What is Massage Therapy?
The manipulation of the muscles and other soft tissues of the body (as by stroking, kneading, or rubbing with one or both hands or an instrument) by a massage therapist for therapeutic purposes (as to relieve pain, promote healing, or improve physical functioning)

What is Vestibular Rehabilitation
Vestibular rehabilitation (VR) is a specialized form of therapy intended to alleviate both the primary and secondary problems due to vestibular disorders. It is an exercise-based program primarily designed to reduce vertigo and dizziness, reduce gaze instability, and/or reduce imbalance and fall risk as well as address any secondary impairments that are a consequence of the vestibular disorder. What is Virtual Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy services that use any form of technology (including but not restricted to video conferencing, internet and telephone) as an alternative to face-to-face interventions.
The Virtual Physiotherapy uses technology to mediate communication between patients who are not able to attend the clinic in-person due to disability. restrictions or living in the remote areas.
Virtual Physiotherapy offers the comfort of being at home while working with one of our Physiotherapists online
Our physiotherapists are experienced in providing care through tele rehab video consultations.
Virtual physiotherapy can be very effective and can simply be done with a computer, tablet or smart-phone.
How it works
Our physiotherapist will take a complete history and do comprehensive assessment online to provide an accurate diagnosis. Physiotherapist will examine the range of motion, check functional movements and evaluate strength. Our physiotherapists will also use clinically proven outcome measures to monitor your progress. Our physiotherapists will then teach, demonstrate and prescribe exercises and stretches using our dedicated software which will have photos, videos and illustrations. Our physiotherapists will also educate their patients on their injury or conditions, educate on self management techniques, educate on posture and educate on lifestyle modifications which will help in their recovery process.
